Whether you are removing a sticky label or cleaning up a sticky mess, trying to remove a sticky residue can be a real pain. So when I discovered this method, and how easy it works, I had to share this quick tip!
It’s a simple mixture made from products you have in your pantry – baking soda and cooking oil.
Just mix together equal part of the baking soda and cooking oil into a paste.
Spread the paste over the sticky residue.
Leave it for at least 30 minutes.
Wipe off the residue.
Wash off any remaining baking soda and oil with soapy water.
This works great on glass and plastic but I haven’t tried it on material yet, as I’m not sure that the baking soda and oil would wash off easily.
